Julie is passionate about communicating the love of God to all people and taking up the cause of those who are struggling and easily overlooked.
Julie Hollett, together with her husband Wayne, has worked in the Fremantle community for the past eleven years. Starting and growing a local Christian church, and nurturing a K-7 primary school (New Life Christian College), has been both demanding and rewarding for them. Together with a growing number of people they have a vision to serve the wider community through walking out the challenging but life giving teachings of Jesus Christ.
Julie is passionate about communicating the love of God to all people and taking up the cause of those who are struggling and easily overlooked. Building a positive culture of life, truth, justice and compassion are very important to her.
Julie is the Director of the Jubilee Welfare Fund (JWF), a charitable organisation established in 2003. www.fremantlejubilee.asn.au This Fund has partnered with Fremantle welfare agencies since 2003 to bring relief and assistance to people in crisis.

In 2005, on ‘International Women’s Day’, Julie received ‘The White Award’ (Purity) from the City of Fremantle.
Julie was born and raised in Malaysia and Taiwan before returning with her parents to live in Perth in 1979. Julie and Wayne met, married, had two sons, worked and lived in Los Angeles for 18 months before starting New Life Christian Community in 1997.
